This morning I discovered a weather blog (new to me at least) that originates from the NSSTC here in Huntsville.
The "NSSTC Collaborative Weather Blog" is accumulating interpretation of a variety of information sources, thanks to the combined resources of the National Weather Service, NASA, and the UAH.
Click on http://nsstc.uah.edu/cwb/ to read their latest, or search back thru previous entries...
One of the links on that site takes us to the UAH "ARMOR" radar.
Click on http://nsstc.uah.edu/armor/webimage/ to see the image from that.
Other links I regularly refer to :
NOAA/NWS Severe Storm Prediction Center = http://www.spc.noaa.gov/
NOAA/NWS National Hurricane Center = http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/
NOAA/NWS Hydrometeorological Prediction Center = http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/
NOAA/NWS Southern Mississippi Valley radar composite = http://radar.weather.gov/ridge/Conus/southmissvly.php
NOAA/NWS Huntsville (Hytop) radar = http://radar.weather.gov/ridge/radar.php?rid=htx
NOAA/NWS Huntsville (Madison) Forecast = http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.ph ... 2=-86.7497
Thanks /;^)
